What Is2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)butyric acid(DMBA)?
It is a coating additive for water-soluble polyurethanes, epoxies, adhesives, etc.
Usage
1. DMBA is a neopentyl carboxyl with two active methylol groups, so it can be used to synthesize aqueous polymer system and it can be widely used in water-soluble poly-amino acid, polyester and epoxy resin.
2. DMBA has better solubility than DMPA in different solvents, so the efficiency can be greatly improved.
