Uses
1. Used as ultraviolet absorber, plasticiser, preservative for plastic products, used in drug synthesis, preparation of flavours, etc.
2. Used as antiseptic, also used in pharmaceutical, organic synthesis industry
3. It is a kind of ultraviolet ray absorber for plastic products. However, the absorption wavelength range is narrower and the light stability is poor. Also used as a pharmaceutical disinfection preservative and organic synthesis. It is also used to make spices.
