Uses
In the pharmaceutical field, undecylenic acid is used as a raw material for antifungal agents and antibacterial drugs, especially for the treatment of fungal infections and skin diseases.
In cosmetics and personal care products, undecylenic acid is commonly used in skin creams, shampoos, conditioners, etc., where it has antibacterial and antifungal properties.
It is also used as an additive, e.g. as a cross-linking agent in polymers and coatings, or in agriculture for the preparation of fungicides. It is also sometimes used as one of the components of fragrances and flavourings to give products a special odour and flavour.
Storage method
Packed in blue plastic drums, each drum weighs 25kg, 180kg or 100kg, placed in a ventilated and cool place.
