Properties:
Glyoxylic acid Monohydrate is colorless or light yellow liquid, which can be miscible with water and slightly soluble in ethanol and ether.
Uses:
1. In the Flavor, used as raw material for the production of methyl vanillin and ethyl vanillin.
2. In the pharmaceutical, it is used as a synthetic intermediate of dl-p-hydroxyphenylglycine, broad-spectrum antibiotics (oral), acetophenone, amino acids and other compounds
3. In the cosmetics, it is used in cosmetics as hair care products, especially straight hair products. Cosmetic grade Glyoxylic acid Monohydrate are used in hair cosmetics, and the color difference is very small.
4. It can be used as an intermediate of varnish raw materials, dyes, plastics and agricultural chemicals
5. It can be used to produce Allantoin, which is an intermediate of anti ulcer pharmaceutical products and daily chemicals.
