Chemical Properties :
Red, sparkling needle crystal. Soluble in hot nitrobenzene, toluene, xylene, ether, acetic acid, chloroform, benzene, slightly soluble in cold ethanol, insoluble in water.
Uses：
1. Determination of nitrite. Dyes and drug intermediates. Organic synthesis.
2.Important intermediate of dyestuff. It can be used for the production of Reduced Carbamide 2G, Reduced Red Brown R, Reduced Olive Green B, Olive T, Olive R, Reduced Grey M, Disperse Red 3B, and Active Brilliant Blue KN-R, Active Brilliant Blue M-BR.
