Usage
White or grayish-white flake crystals. Soluble in water, 95% ethanol, insoluble in ether, a small amount of soluble in concentrated caustic alkali solution and ethanol solution.
Used in the preparation of acidic, direct dyes and edible red pigments, as well as in the antidote of nitrite and iodine poisoning.
Storage
It should be sealed and shaded to be stored in a dry, cool, well ventilated place.
